A taekwondo gold medalist known as instructor & action choreographer

Rubina Ghale, a renowned Nepalese taekwondo player, has established herself with hard works as a taekwondo instructor & action choreographer, too.
She had won a gold medal in the 4th Heroes International taekwondo championship 2018 which was held in Thailand. Her first international participation in this sports category, was back in 2016 when she competed in India and secured a second position with silver medal. She recalls a mix feelings of excitement & anxiousness when she went first time to play out of Nepal in 2016. “I always feel a proud whenever I represent the country in international arenas”, Rubina says. She is absolutely thankful to taekwondo for giving her a distinct identity which she deserves. Rubina has participated in more than 10 national/international competitions held in Nepal, India, Thailand & China, emerging as a winner almost frequently.

She was born in a gurung family located at a village called Barpak in Gorkha District in Gandaki province of Nepal. She is the youngest among three daughters of father Dhan Kumar Ghale & mother Areni Ghale. Being the youngest child, she was lucky enough to receive an extra love & cares from the parents & siblings, as well. Rubina has immense interest on sports since her childhood. She was attracted towards taekwondo watching one of her friends’ brother who used to play taekwondo, then. Her parents were initially, not in favor of her pursuing this sport as career but the later, she convinced the both. Now, she has full support from the family.

Started as Taekwondo Player, Rubina has already spent more than a decade in this field. Along with accomplished player, she is also a taekwondo instructor and action choreographer, now. Rubina instructs to play taekwondo to the students at Satdobato, Lalitpur and quite happy with this new role, having a contribution in honing new talents.
Exploring new horizons, a talented taekwondo player Rubina has successfully entered into action choreography. She has contributed as an action choreographer in Nepali Movie titled Johnny Gentleman, Web series titled Hamro High School and various music videos. Her upcoming movie as fight choreographer is AUD DOLLOR which is due to release.
At last, Rubina Ghale promised to work even harder to achieve more success in taekwondo. She seeks more government’s policies & plans focused on the uplifting taekwondo. She is worried about the number of female taekwondo players which is very less at present. She requests the government & sports ministry to work on it, immediately.
